Why I Write About AI

My journey with AI began in 2003 during my master’s degree in Software Engineering, a time often referred to as the "AI winter," when progress in the field was largely theoretical. Two decades later, we find ourselves in an AI renaissance driven by tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, and MURF that are transforming how we think, work, and create.

Initially, my interest in AI was rooted in its theoretical underpinnings. But in early 2023, as I delved into ChatGPT, my focus shifted to its practical applications. With a strong technology and business analysis background, I quickly saw the immense potential of generative AI tools and the nuances of their prompt/response dynamics.

Writing has become my way of navigating and contributing to this evolving AI landscape. My first book bridged decades of experience with today’s cutting-edge technology, exploring AI’s strengths and limitations. As I continue to write books and articles, my goal is to inspire curiosity, encourage thoughtful dialogue, and highlight the practical ways AI can enrich our lives and work.
